Pietro Basoccu lives and works in Sardinia, he is keen on social photography, author of many photographic projects that investigate the social problems from different points of view. He pays attention in particular to the innermost aspects and sometimes the most suffered aspects of life. The social photography is intended as deep compassion for the difficulties and participation in pains of the others. It is not a look or a feeling of pity but it is a strong emotional feeling, an intimate communion with the suffering that binds deeply human beings.
